Our LPOS-keyboard series was developed to be used for intensive data input. POS-keyboards LPOS-128 are great solution for automation processes in self-service stores and retail-stores. That is why POS-keyboards fairly are used in 'help-yourself' shops, groceries, appliance shops, clothing stores, building material stores, jewelries and so on. Programmable POS-keyboards could be used not only with commerce operations but also with service desks like hotels, gaming halls, restaurants etc. Modern design along with reliability and rich functionality make LPOS-keyboards handy and usable.

Our series of LPOS-keyboards is perfect for building POS-workstations. You can program every key and assign it to a specific function. It supports 4 keyboard layers, and so you can program every single key at each layout. Besides, our LPOS-keyboard series is compatible with all standard POS peripherals so you can fully customize your working space.

Cherry-MX1.pngKeyboards LPOS-128 can be programmed (configured) in all operating systems family Windows: 32- bit and 64-bit. Keyboard for OS Windows is programmed using a generic driver. Keyboard configuration program is very simple, intuitive and easy in use. It speeds up the process of configuring and relieves unnecessary routine operations. Serial configuration of the keyboard (layout load) takes less than a minute. Loading keyboard layout occurs in one click: connect a keyboard > press the button "DOWNLOAD" > layout is loaded.

We simplified electric circuit of our LPOS-keyboard and balanced it's net cost. All components are installed on quality double-sided glass-fibre plastic of the FR-4 grade. Internal memory to store keyboard layouts is at least 8 KB. We achieved high performance level of our POS keyboards LPOS-128 with using the Cherry MX1A cross gold contacts (Germany). Operating life of individual key is at least 50 million operations.

Electromechanical key working is rather simple:

- In mode 1 – last left position means that keyboard off and not sense on keys pressing, other positions mean activation different layers of layout;

- In mode 2 – each turn of key generates early programmed string like a keypressing

Keyboards with electromechanical keylock features:

- Available in USB and PS/2 versions. No external PS/2 keyboard port;

- In mode 1 keys of change layers is blocked because keylock controls this function.

Programmable Keyboard supports Touch key, which allows, in accordance with different access levels to distribute key POS keyboard for groups.  
The main advantages of Touch key is:

- ease of adding new keys;
- the ability to add new keys on the job;
- you can remove or transfer the key from one keyboard to another.

Keyboard with Touch when you add a new key allows you to choose from four types of access:

- For all users;
- User group users;
- Administrator;
- Superadministrator.

Each key on the keyboard to be related to one of four groups. Upon activation key «For all users» on the keyboard will be accesses keys in this group, that is, when activated keys of other groups will not be available, and their press will be ignored.

For keyboards with PS/2 the interface interaction between the software with fingerprint scanner is a special library, which is supplied by our company on request. In these types of keyboards scanners TCEBB are used  with integrated 32-bit ARM-processor for the implementation of algorithms for fingerprint comparison with template directly inside the scanner and with integrated memory for storing fingerprint templates. Scanner in the keyboard with PS/2 interface can operate in two modes: "secured" and "transparent." In a "secure" mode, reading the print and its comparison with the pattern is made by inbuilt into the scanner ARM-processor. By PS/2 interface in the computer may be send a result of the comparison: "yes" or "no". In the "transparent" mode, the print is scanned and sent to the computer for processing by the special library. Libraries are for Windows and Linux. The benefits of "protected" mode of the scanner may be attributed to the unpretentious operating system, in which a keyboard is applied. To operate the scanner in this mode you does not need libraries. The disadvantages include: low speed of comparison of  the fingerprint template and, consequently, the limited (20) number stored in the scanner  memory of templates for comparison.

Scanners which are installed in the keyboards  with interface  of USB are seen by, the operating systems as independent from the keyboard USB-device. To control the scanning matrix is used here TCD21A chip, producted by UPEK. Fingerprint of keyboards with USB interface can only work in "transparent" mode.

Keyboard LPOS-128-RS485 is designed for use:

    - in automation systems and other industrial processes;
    - as a keyboard remote control systems, intercom and phone system.

The keyboard consists of 128 highly keys Cherry, each of which integrated two-color LED. LED control (set / read state) is performed through an interface and does not depend on the state of the keys. The keyboard allows the installation of LEDs in 15 different states (steady burning one or another color, blinking, blinking rapidly, with the change of color, etc.).

The keyboard is also possible to connect an external closing devices, as the 129 th key.

Keyboard work on multiuser optical unleashed interface RS485, which allows an organization with 31 bus device. Exchange with the device is made at a speed of 38400, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.
